The WARM Place in Fort Worth, Texas is beginning their annual “A Phone Call From Santa” fundraiser. If you make a $20 contribution to the organization, volunteer Santas will call your child of choice on either December 7th or 8th between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. Contributors complete a form that asks for information about the child(ren) so that Santa can have a personal conversation with each one.
The WARM Place was founded in 1989 by Peggy Bohme as a place for children to learn how to cope with the death of a loved one. Both my family and I have been involved with the organization in a variety of capacities for over fourteen years.
