Leaving Things a Little Better Than You Found Them, Chapter 3.

By in Clothing, Leaving Things..., Personal, Series

I am afraid this is a short edition of Leaving Things A Little Better Than You Found Them. Do not be confused though, it is perhaps one of my favorites.

This past week, a dear friend of mine, seemingly knowing that I was not enjoying the best day of my life, surprised me with the sweetest gift. Being aware of my long-term love of the wise old owl, my friend set the cutest pair of owl sleep shorts on my desk. I looked over and beamed from ear to ear. A quick errand on her lunch acquainted her with this adorable find that left my day a little better than I found it. Priceless indeed.

I love owls, too! I also love how sometimes the simplest gestures can mean so much. Awesome story. :)

Heeyyyy! It is so nice to see all of you here this morning. It’s nice to be back in the blogging business! I hope all of you have a fantastic day.

Lauren – I saw another gathering that I think you should attend on my behalf this morning. Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings at The Brooklyn Public Library. http://www.brooklynpubliclibrary.org/support/gala/

Emily – Why am I not surprised that you like owls, too? (I actually have an owl app on my iPhone.) :)

Jason – Jorts. The answer to all of life’s problems.

    Jen,

That does sound like fun! How do you find all the fun stuff in my neck of the woods?

  7. Jen Dean says:

Lauren – Between the plethora of things Jason and I are subscribed to we manage to find an incredible amount of fun stuff, often in your neck of the woods. I’m just glad I know someone that I can live vicariously through. :)

I just wish you guys lived closer so you could actually enjoy them too!
