Two Plus Two is Not Fourteen

By in Culture, Education, Psychology

Good day, readers!

Last week Jason forwarded a NY Times article to me about new research relating to differences between the sexes when it comes to math and science.  As I told Jason, it was perhaps the most incoherent article I have read in the Times.  I could hardly make sense of the reasoning and it was shabbily put together.

Today, in checking my Google Reader, I discovered someone else with similar feelings about this catastrophe of a write-up.  Beilock hits the nail on the head pointing to poor research as well as execution

As I say, over and over again…if we keep making excuses for why one sex is better or worse than the other how will we ever achieve equality?  In the words of Seth and Amy on Saturday Night Live, “Really!?!”
